The impressive sales of Saturn Aura allowed for this mid-sized car to get in the top of the best cars produced by General Motors. The new Saturn concept was presented in the 2006 New York Auto Show, and it capatured the public attention right from the beginning even if GM only intended it as the line to replace the L Series. The outcome of this new direction is an advantage of American cars over European imports particularly since in recent years the the success belonged to the latter. Saturn Aura also spoils its users with 224 horsepower for a 3.5 liter V6 engine. The distinction between Saturn Aura XR and XE becomes noticeable in the properties of the suspensions: thus Saturn Aura XE has soft suspensions while Aura XR has more rigid sportier ones. Saturn Aura is also available in the hybrid environment friendly form following the green line traits. It uses a belt alternation system and it has the same system of suspension as the gas-only XE models. The variety of Saturn auto offers significantly increased since 2004. Plus, the interest in environment-friendly car models also entered on an ascending path, given the increased awareness of the environmental degradation closely connected to car pollution. There is a chance to drastically limit the toxic emissions not only by the use of hybrid cars, but by car producers investing in less polluting technologies too. Plug in car options are in the design phase at the moment, but in the very near future they could allow for vehicle autonomy and the unique use of electrical engines or batteries as propelling devices.

Saturn auto options provide all the necessary comfort, and the level between convetional and luxurious is well balanced so as to provide a very satisfactory ride. This is the explanation for the market success and car respect of the very first Saturn auto models, since they brought the quality that made one feel cozy. Exquisite customer service was the ace in the sleeve that General Motors had over the other car manufacturers. Maybe they don’t follow the latest fashion craze, but at least they remain focused on the expectations of the average driver.
